Development update

So... Yeah... I just couldn't get the new update working in time.

Had to full-on pause development due to life circumstances. It's one of those times where one thing goes wrong and everything else starts going wrong too. Nursing a huge migraine; been asked (kinda forced) to rest more, so development had to slow down.

Designed 2 new enemies to be put in the game though. Choosing to celebrate the wins! Let me know what you think of them, 'cause I'm not exactly the best at making things look nice.

Would also like to thank the people from multiple Discord communities who played the game and gave feedback!


Addressing frequent questions/ critique:

  • "Will there be combat?" - Yes. The game will be going through a huge change.
  • "I really really really hate the spikes" - ... I know.
  • "Will this be a metroidvania?" - At the moment, I don't think so.
  • "Make a metroidvania!" - Maybe the next game.
  • "Movement sucks. YOU suck." - No you (ok fine, I'll probably tune it later on)
